Below are two images I found of DeVille's work and the links to where I found them. This piece contains a boat filled with fake arms and legs, which seem to have a certain color scheme. There is blue splattered over various limbs, which helps guide the viewers' eyes across the boat.  Balance. Entropy

Entropy explores decay and nature. Above each AI generated image is the prompt I used. There are a few notes under each image to help me keep track of what stood out to me most. The prompt, "Entropy – the exploration of decay. Destruction as a mode of making. This could be relational to ecology, the body, society, religion, etc…" as a sculpture. -interesting items, they are in the process of decay, they seem to be destroyed by time.  -the rightmost image looks like a mushroom. Labor

     The prompt, "Labor – work that investigates things like evidence of labor such as marks or repeated wear. This could be investigating new forms of labor, I’m thinking influencers. Possibly considering what the future of labor looks like for humans. This could also be the labor of the artist either as evidence or performance" as a sculpture. I am considering doing a theme of overworking or conveying the feeling of being "burnt out" from school and work. I want to use candles because the wax burns down over time like people can.
